The staff were very friendly and helpful. For example when we were just having a well-deserved beer after a long hike, we were offered special little cakes made "in house" - for free! The location is good, a little way out of the main town which can be very busy. The car parking is good. We were able to borrow an umbrella for a walk to town - a welcome service!

Good location Good building but terrible furniture in rooms. It could be a really nice hotel in the right hands. In need of an update.
